Katelyn & Tom had such a wonderful wedding at Salve Regina’s  Ochre Court. I love this venue because of it’s old world charm and character…. not to mention the view! Thank you to Peter Silvia for helping me out with this wedding.  Here is a little snippet of their wedding! Enjoy.

The light in this majestic place was divine!

a quite moment.

I love this shot Peter got of the two sisters!

The reception was a blast! They brought in a 90’s cover band who traveled all the way from Maine. They were amazing and really had the crowd going!

The last dance.

At the end of the night everyone went out and lit wishing lanterns. It was a great way to send off the bride and groom! Thank you Katelyn & Tom for having me there to capture your day!

I can’t think of a better way to spend Memorial Day weekend then with this classy couple! I had such a blast photographing Jenna & Adam’s wedding at Castle Hill. A big thank you to Maura who was shooting with me all day. Maura started with the guys at a family home here in Newport. I hear there was a pretty intense game of croquet going on!

… Their portraits. So handsome and beautiful. The flowers were by Sayles Livingston. They were so luscious.

The ceremony took place at Saint Mary’s Church in Bristol,RI. This is my favorite shot from their ceremony.

After the ceremony we headed down to the docks in Bristol for a few quick shots then we were off to Castle Hill.

… they had a nautical/anchor themed wedding. The anchor was the staple and lived on everything you can think of. The girls were wearing anchor necklaces, their stationary had the beautiful gold anchor which you see here on the napkins and they even had them as drink stirrers! The place cards were compasses which were laid out on top of a nautical map of Rhode Island. Their “guest book” was a set of oars which were placed next to their custom sign (below). Jenna even made welcome bags which contained anchor chocolate pops and other goodies! I am just absolutely in love with their details.

…… my favorite detail of the night was Jenna’s engagement ring. The ring was her grandmother’s which had been passed down to her. It was a great story to hear and a special night for  grandma and the couple.

…. I was in love with these paper lanterns. Not only are the beautiful but they are awesome to photograph!

I’ll leave you with a few sunset images…

Thank you Jenna & Adam for an amazing day!
