Hancock Shaker Village

Last May, my friend and fellow photographer, Tricia McCormack , decided we needed a little inspiration  ( and a reason to take pretty photos) before wedding season began. We contacted local Berkshire county wedding vendors to create 2 fantastic looks for a very unique location. The first being a preppy, modern colorful look to offset the rustic country farm setting of the Hancock Shaker Village . When choosing a venue you can always play into what the venue has to offer and base your theme on that or you can juxtapose the opposite to create a unique but cohesive look like we did here.

I love the mustard background of the old school house.

Rustic furniture was used to marry the country setting with the modern decor

I love the different sized ribbons which decorated the cake. A great alternative to fondant.
