Spring has finally arrived here in Rhode Island and we are so thankful for it! In celebration of the warm weather and the sunny days I wanted to share this couple’s Spring engagement session!
Diem & Christiaan contacted me a few weeks back with a vision of pink flowers for their engagement session. My first thought was to use the Linden Place Mansion as it has the most STUNNING pink Magnolia tree I have ever seen. We started the session at the Linden Place, focusing on the luscious pink tree! We also walked around the property to incorporate the beautiful antique details and the grand architecture of the mansion. After that we took a quick stop down by the waterfront, because when in a Navy uniform one must be photographed by the water! ;) I can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the historic Glen Manor House this July!
5 years!! I can not believe it’s been 5 years since my wedding! Here’s a fun inspiration board I created from photos of my wedding.
It was an antique themed wedding held at the historic Linden Place, in Bristol RI, filled with lots of lace and old world charm. My grandmothers wedding gown (circa. 1940) was the main focus on the card table. The lace from my mothers wedding gown was the decoration on the cake and the buttons were on the base of my bouquet.
The wedding colors were eggplant with accents of wine, cream and brown. The flowers were so luscious! Dahlias, garden roses, cabbage, callas, stock, antique hydrangea, millet and wheat! How delightful!

Wedding …. Thursday!? Can you believe that it’s 4pm and I’m just sitting down at my desk! What a crazy day this has been. As a follow up to the slideshow above I thought I’d post a few of my favorite images from Ana & Tom’s wedding! After going through all their images I’m definitely going to have to make a black and white inspiration board using all of their amazing details! Have a great evening!
This is one of my favorite images of the day! Such a touching moment.
The glass room at the Linden Place is a great space. The windows in there are spectacular!
