A Boston Park Plaza Wedding | Boston, Massachusetts
Tania & Vincenzo’s Boston Park Plaza wedding was so soft and elegant. Even though it rained on their wedding day, Good luck right!?, that didn’t stop us from having a good time.
Tania wore a gorgeous lace wedding gown with the most intricate beading all in the front. She wore a long cathedral veil that had matching lace which lined the entire bottom. Her ladies were dressed in blush and carried pink spring blooms of peony’s and roses. Tania’s mother had given her such a thoughtful gift. She had a tennis bracelet which was given to her by her loving husband on a wedding anniversary and as a gift to Tania on her wedding day she had it split and made into custom matching bracelets for each of them to wear and to have forever.
The couple were married in Tania’s family church which was so beautiful! I loved the sky blue arches, light yellow walls and the stunning dome piece which look liked the midnight sky! As the Groom, bridal parties and bride showed up there were a fanfare of trumpets to announce them into the church. The ceremony was heartfelt and emotional for everyone. Both Vincenzo and Tania’s families are first generation Italians so a lot of the services was spoken in Italian. I have to admit my Italian isn’t great but it sure did sound romantic! :) After they said I do and kissed it was off to the party!! The couple were whisked away in their Vintage Rolls Royce while the rest of us followed on the “party bus”.
The rain hadn’t let up by the time we got to the hotel so we headed inside to use the unique interior of the building! The stairway was oh so regal and I loved the intricate antique metal handrails. You all know how I love my staircases! We were so lucky that we got a tiny break in the weather so we were able to head outside for a few minutes to get that iconic dip and kiss in front of the hotel sign and to get some fun portraits.
The ballroom was just stunning with the ornate chandeliers, the decorative arches and the soft pink and grey color palette of the florals and table linens. I also must mention the cake….THE CAKE was out of this world! It was a 7 tiered cake all in white with sugar flowers and lace all up and down it!
As soon as the introductions and formalities were over the entire dance floor was packed with pretty much everyone who attended and it didn’t stop until the party ended. What a wedding!
Congratulations Tania & Vincenzo!
