A Renaissance Hotel Wedding | Foxboro, Massachusetts
Kristi & Josh’s Renaissance Hotel at Patriot Place had so many fun filled family moments!
The couple chose red and charcoal as their wedding colors and it was so gorgeously dramatic against all of the day’s backgrounds. Josh wore a black shirt under his custom charcoal suit and accessorized with a silky red paisley tie held in place by a tie clip is bride got him. The groomsmen wore the opposite and had the charcoal shirt under black suits. Kristi’s diamond white ball gown had so many layers of delicate lace and beading. Under the skirt, her mother pinned a monogrammed memento that Kristi’s aunt had made. The ladies wore charcoal dresses and carried cascading red bouquets. Tres Chic.
The first look and the couple’s formal photos were taken at one of my favorite parks, Borderland State Park. The grounds are straight out of a fairy tale. From the historic stone mansion, to it’s overgrown gardens, a lake and a vast forest. The light that day was very bright but we found plenty of romantic and moody spots. The short and sweet ceremony was held in the newly renovated, and perfectly colored, ballroom of the Renaissance. After the I do’s and a kiss we headed out to the Cranberry Bogs close to the venue to catch those last few rays of golden sunlight.
The reception was filled with lots of great surprises for the couple. Notably, both families choreographed and lip-synched a dance to an old hollywood song – “It’s a grand night for singing”. It was a great show! Everyone sang to the couple and danced around as if at a grand ball. Shortly after that, the dance floor exploded when the song “Shout” started to play. This song has been a staple in Josh’s family and it’s when all 6 uncles come together for an intense dance version which includes, jumping, twirls and spinning quickly on the floor. What a great evening!
Kristi & Josh, Congratulations!
